Welcome to our historic 116-year-old Dutch Colonial Revival home. Japanese boxwood lines a white picket fence showcasing a cottage garden bursting with tulips, roses, foxglove, exotic hibiscus, and Shasta daisies.  Enter through the welcome gate to your right, where you’ll discover plenty of surprises- like the delightful, child-size fairy house. Oh, the secrets kept here!  Joyful soirées happen under the wisteria-covered arbor and gazebo, magically hidden from the city. As you step along the paved paths, you’ll notice more themes quietly guarded by more faithful boxwood.  There is an orchard of fruit trees with a sitting area ready for afternoon tea, the vegetable “room” protected from visiting squirrels, and a charming home for the family’s pet hens.  It’s so tranquil yet lively with whispering fountains, colorful flora, happy chickens, butterflies, and piped-in orchestral sounds - this garden has a French country soul!  Across the hens’ bridge, view a bedazzled succulent fountain and tiny greenhouse. Then, follow the shade path back to the gazebo for homemade refreshments. This happy gardener thanks you for stopping by.
