This European country garden has continued to evolve over the last 38 years.  Cathy has studied gardening extensively in the UK, taking inspiration from her personal visits to famous cottage gardens; including those of Gertrude Jekyll, Christopher Lloyd, William Robinson, and Margery Fish.  The garden combines the structure of hedges, boxwood and eugenia topiary, along with fruit trees-all softened with roses, hydrangeas, foxgloves & irises.  This is a classic garden design with a dreamy canyon view.  There is a small, organic kitchen garden, a front garden courtyard, and a good-sized potting area where you hear the crunch of pea gravel under your feet, as well as a large patio with a cooking island perfect for preparing an alfresco meal.  This garden is truly a labor of love and perfect for outdoor California living.
