We are beyond thrilled — and honestly still pinching ourselves — to share that the Mary Lou Heard Memorial Garden Tour has been featured in the Los Angeles Times!
In a beautiful piece celebrating the best of Southern California’s spring garden tours, our beloved event was front and center — with garden host Lori Basheda's garden gracing the cover photo! What an incredible honor and a true testament to the heart, creativity, and community that make this tour so special year after year.

For those who have walked through Lori’s enchanting garden, it comes as no surprise. Her space overflows with whimsy, soul, and a true gardener’s touch — and now, the rest of California (and beyond!) gets to see what makes it so magical.
The Mary Lou Heard Memorial Garden Tour has long been a cherished tradition in Orange County. It’s a free, self-guided celebration of real gardens by real people, with the option to donate to some wonderful local causes. We’re proud to continue Mary Lou’s legacy of beauty, generosity, and community spirit.
